| Dechy was the surprise package of this year's Australian Open when she beat three seeds, including Anastasia Myskina, en route to the semi-finals where she then came within a whisker of ousting Lindsay Davenport. Despite her solid all-round game, the French star has struggled to replicate that form on the tour. Will be happy to be off the clay, although it would remain a surprise if she were to still be around at the business end of things. |
