EASY FOR BLACK AND HUBER
Second seeds Cara Black and Liezel Huber won the Wimbledon women's doubles title on Sunday.
The Zimbabwe-South Africa pair triumphed 6-2 6-1 over Svetlana Kuznetsova and Amelie Mauresmo, both ranked inside the top 10 in singles, on Centre Court.
The inexperience of Mauresmo and Kuznetsova's partnership showed in a
one-sided final with Black's doubles expertise establishing an early dominance.
And the powerful singles semi-finalist Mauresmo did not help matters by
failing to hold her own serve once throughout the entire match.
The victory meant Black kept her grip on the trophy she had won last year with Rennae Stubbs - on that occasion Huber was on the opposite side of the net.
The victory made up for the doubles specialists' recent defeat in the final of the French Open.
